Picnic Lunch

The weather has turned slightly cooler, and we are taking full advantage of it. We have been having picnic lunches outside, and these are special moments I don't ever want to forget!

Anticipating Fall

Even though it is officially fall, it certainly doesn't feel like it around here with temperatures in the 90s most days...at least it isn't 100 anymore. :) We went and bought some mums to plant this weekend, and Ian had such fun helping dig in the dirt, getting the plants into their new pots, and giving them a big drink afterwards. Unfortunately, I didn't get any shots of the finished products since my hands were covered in dirt, but it is definitely looking more like autumn now.

First Beach Trip

We went to the beach a few weekends ago, and it was wonderful to watch Ian experience the sand and ocean for the first time. Ian was beyond excited for the whole trip, which means we both got very little sleep for the weekend! :) The weather was perfect, and it was great to escape for a few days!

A Little of This & A Little of That

I have been MIA in the blog world for a while. Life has been busy lately. Here are some photos of some of the things that have been going on with us.

Lake Vacation

Ian and I took a little vacation last week to visit GranniJo and PoppaJim at their lake house. It was hot and the lake level was extremely low, but we still had a relaxing time and made some special memories.
