Easter

We spent the morning at church, and then Ian enjoyed an egg hunt in the backyard after his nap. The weather was beautiful, and it's nice for it to feel like spring instead of summer already! :)His first egg fell apart, and, to my surprise, he didn't try to eat the candy inside, but took his time putting it back inside the egg and then into his basket.Trying to figure out what is inside by shaking the egg.Spotted another one and off he goes...
Jumping with all his might.Full basket, but a few eggs remain...I love his excitement in this picture. The best part about Easter eggs...the candy!! :)He was "cracking" the eggs to get them to open up. A fun memory for Easter 2012!

Bluebonnets

The bluebonnets have been beautiful this year thanks to lots of rain, and I wanted to make sure that I got Ian's picture in them, especially since we didn't take any last year due to the drought. He wasn't very excited, but we did manage to get a few good ones...thank goodness for digital cameras! He requested some silly ones. :)Ian is always picking me flowers. He has such a sweet soul.Losing interest in taking pictures...Cheesy grin.Guns Up!!After all of that sitting around and smiling, there was lots of energy to burn.Collecting rocks to throw in the river.LOTS of rocks!

Bouncing Away

Ian's birthday party was at a bounce house and he had the BEST time. He ran around with a huge smile on his face for the whole party. It is still hard for me to believe that he is 4 already!!Bouncing with Bethany.Sliding with Grant and Max.Even though there were multiple places to bounce, he found balancing on this bar much more exciting for a little while. :)Max with the birthday boy.Enjoying pizza with Uncle. The whole crew.A silly shot.Enjoying some bubble blowing fun at the end of the day.
