Sea World

We spent our last day at Sea World, and it was a beautiful day!  My mom joined us, and it was fun to see Ian's excitement all day long.

Meeting the Sesame Street characters was one of his favorite things.  We were on the lookout all day for these celebrities!

"Look, Mommy...it's the Count!!"

Priceless.

We went on the Shamu rollercoaster, but, as you can see from the top picture, Ian didn't enjoy it very much.  After we were strapped in and the ride was getting ready to start, he looked at me and said, "My tummy feels funny."  Poor guy was so nervous, but it was over after 2 quick trips around the small track. I don't think he'll be my rollercoaster partner any time soon. :)
Getting onto the merry-go-round took some convincing, but he had fun and rode it several more times.
Meeting Franklin.

Enjoying Dippin' Dots.

Riding with Grammy.

Children's Museum

The first night we were in San Antonio, a cold front blew through making it windy, cold, and rainy for our second day.  We spent the day at the Children's Museum and had so much fun!  Ian was in heaven running from one exhibit to the next.

A friendly bank teller answering the phone.
"Look how tall I am!"

Ian thought it was so cool that he could wear a vest and hard hat.  This was actually a short ride that moved, made sounds, and let him push the controls inside.

There was a whole HEB store for Ian to shop in.

Checking out.
Inside a giant bubble.

 Future air traffic controller?? :)

Ian spent lots of time in this plane performing many different roles.

San Antonio Trip

I decided to take advantage of having a vacation during the school week one last time before Ian starts kindergarten in the fall .  We went to San Antonio for a few nights and had a great time.  The first day we were there we went to a park with a huge wooden playground.  There were also some cool water features that Ian had fun exploring.

Tower of the Americas.  Unfortunately we couldn't go up since it was closed for a private event that day.
What a personality this boy has! :)
Ian loved this statue.
Winding down for the night.
