Big Boy Bed

Last week I upgraded Ian from his toddler bed to a full size bed. It was definitely time since he barely had any room to rollover in his bed! He helped me take apart his toddler bed, and the mattress was delivered while he was napping. He was so excited to wake up to a new bed, and, so far, has slept very well in his big bed! Merry Christmas

Ian was up bright and early at 5:30 on Christmas morning. He was filled with absolute joy all day long. This was the best Christmas yet with him. :)

Once the bike helmet got put on, it stayed on all morning long. :)

Helping Granddad build the fire pit. Since Granddad needed his reading glasses for this project, Ian had to have his sunglasses on "just like Granddad."Huge excitement over new coloring books and markers. I love how the simple things make him so happy.
