Feeding Ducks

We had a little cold front come through last Friday, and I thought it would be fun to take Ian to the park to feed the ducks some bread. We had done this once before in the spring, and he remembered and was ready to go. Now that school is back in, I don't think these ducks are getting fed as often. They marched right up to us in eager anticipation. My mom went with us, and I was glad to have an extra set of hands helping. While I was trying to take pictures, one duck pecked me on the foot...I was not very happy, but was glad that it was me rather than Ian. Ian had a great time, and I'm sure we will go back more often as the weather gets cooler.

We didn't even ring a dinner bell, but they somehow knew we had food.
